Enhancements:
1. Support for DGS-3100-24/24P/48/48P D-View module with monitoring functions.
2. Upgrade the latest D-View modules for DES-6500/DGS-3600/DGS-3400/DES-3000
3. Upgrade the MIB complier tool to support NetDefend firewall
4. Provide simple syslog server to receive the log messages from devices.
* Configure the syslog service by clicking System > Event Manager > Device Event Config
* Select a Netmap or a switch first and select Event Type’s Syslog Event.
* Change the Severity with proper level and click the Log check box which is in the Notice of event section.
* Click Apply to save the configuration

Problem Resolved
1. When compile the NetDefend firewall series’ MIB file, D-View will show error message and the MIB information was not completely compiled into D-View.
2. When user click the “root” in the “Hierarchy Topology Workplace” window and launch the “Event View by …” function; the system will keep on popping-up a warning message saying “Please select domain or subnet”. User needs to terminate it with Windows’ task manager.
3. The gray color icon of NetDefend firewall was not correct.
4. When user creates more than 20 sub-netmaps for each netmap, the system will hang up.
5. When manually add a device or netmap, click the new made icon and execute the “Topology Rollback” feature, the system will crash.
6. Fix the problem that when syslog message is longer than 128 byte, the system will crash.
7. Fix the problem that when D-View received large quantity of trap/syslog messages, some of the message will lost.

Known Issue
1. Some of the functions for the embedded DGS-3100 Series D-View module can not work with firmware version 2.50.19 because the MIB architecture is changed and the embedded D-View module was designed based on old MIB architecture.
[Workaround] D-View still can recognize DGS-3100 devices. If user needs to configure the device, please select the DGS-3100’s icon and choose the Web from right click menu to configure it.
2. The embedded DES-7200 D-View module has problem in displaying the device panel.
[Workaround] Please download the latest version or install the D-View module in the product CD

Enhancements:

Known Issues:
1. When compile the NetDefend firewall series’ MIB, D-View will show error message. The MIB information was not completely compiled if user checks the MIB file via MIB Browser.
[Workaround] This is MIB complier’s bug and we’ll release a patch to fix it. There’s no problem for D-View to identify the device type in Topology Map.
2. When user click the “root” in the “Hierarchy Topology Workplace” window and launch the “Event View by …” function; The system will keep on popping-up a warning message saying “Please select domain or subnet”.
[Workaround] User need to launch task manager and delete the D-View process. When you delete the process, no affection to D-View data or function. If user wants to view the event log, user needs to prevent click on the root and launch the function.
3. The NetDefend firewall icon was not correct when the product was not in the poll list and change to the gray color.
[Workaround] There’s no affection to the whole system and only the icon was not correct. However, customer still can identify the device via the device’s label.
4. When you create more than 20 sub-netmaps for each netmap, the system will hang up.
[Workaround] The system works fine if you can control the net map less than 20.
