DGS-3048 Firmware Release Note

Problems Resolved:
1. Fix the missing command “config multicast_fdb” in CLI.
2. Fix the missing configuration of STP and MSTP instance ID (bridge priority) in Web UI.
3. The following command cannot auto-complete when user press "Tab" in CLI.
   "config traffic control storm_type broadcast_multicast threshold [int 3500-1000000]"
   "config stp edge maxage <6-40>"
   "config stp ports 17 externalcost"
4. When administrator generates a SSH certificate (crypto certificate generate command) then enable the SSL, the Https connection may lose.
5. DGS-3048 will not check the radius database when administrator access switch via Web interface.
6. It is not able to set STP port external Cost = 0(Auto) in Web UI.
7. In Web UI, "IGMP snooping settings" page only display 20 VLANs information, it will have problem if user wants to configure IGMP snooping over 20 VLANs
8. The "Monitoring/Browse Router Port" function in Web UI does not show router port information.
9. The "Monitoring/IGMP Snooping Forwarding Table" function in Web UI does not show router port information.
10. Incorrect MSTP port information displayed on Web UI.
11. Remove the wrong message "copy finished, please reboot device" after uploading configuration file to TFTP server.
12. The range of PVID in the command "config gvrp {port | channel} pvid(1-4094)" was incorrect, it should be (1-256).
13. No values return for following SNMP object when executing SNMP “get” request

14. DGS-3048 doesn't transmit the SNMP (V1/V2) trap when user authentication failure (CLI and Web).
15. The boundary of GMT+hour in the command "config time_zone operator + hour <gmt_hour 0-13>" was not correct, it should be 0-12.

Enhancements:
None.

Known Issues:
1. When the user enters the command: “config traffic control storm_type broadcast_multicast threshold 3500” it is working, but if the user enters the command without the threshold value, system didn’t show the error message but the command is not working.
[Workaround]
The threshold value is required in the current CLI implementation. To simply activate the storm control without threshold value, the user should do it through the WEB GUI.
2. Timeout and Retransmit fields in the Radius Server page contain 0, these are not legal value for these fields, but there is no error message.
[Workaround]
The system does not block the illegal value for the fields. However, there will be no problem when the users configure with non-zero values.
3. It is possible to add a non-existent VLAN to an MST Instance through Web UI 
[Workaround]
The WEB GUI does not block the non-existent VLAN as an input in the page. On the other hand, the corresponding CLI command works well and blocks the illegal input properly.
4. It is impossible to use radius authentication in the web
[Workaround]
Users can setup the radius authentication via CLI.
5. When the user types “show fdb” and choose “static” as the first parameter then press “?”, it should show the rest 4 parameters, instead it is showing only one parameter.
[Workaround]
Users can refer to the CLI Guide to get the correct syntax of command.
6. The command "config ssh authmode publickey enable" is working in the CLI but can’t be uploaded from the configuration file.
[Workaround]
If the user loads the configuration file to other device, he should configure the “ssh authmode” again.
7. The command “config stp mst_ports “has wrong completion with the TAB button 
[Workaround]
Users can refer to the CLI Guide to get the correct syntax of command.
8. After key in or input: “config stp xyxyxyxyxy m” the autocomplete continue to complete even though there is wrong text inside the command.
After key in or input: “config stp m” it autocomplete to 'mst' even though there are also options of 'maxage' and maxhops'
[Workaround]
Users can refer to the CLI Guide to get the correct syntax of command.
9. New user which was added via Web UI in User Accounts table isn’t saved in running file
[Workaround]
User data can not be saved in configuration file.  If the user loads the configuration file to other device, he should add the new user again.

Note:
The first release of DGS-3048 has been found some minor problems in Web UI can CLI, but those won't impact normal operation. And all those known issue will be fixed in pater patch release. Details and workarounds for those know bugs can be found in "Known Issue" report.
